Withe the Special on short schedule would Barney trade his House Senoirity for Jnuior status in the Senate?
The idea of Sen's Frank and Franken carving up Hatch, Coburn and the other R's by showing them up to being the dishonest fools they are would just be too entertaining.

Give up his House seniority and committee chairmanships at age 68 in order to become a freshman Senator?
Not too likely.
I'd think that it would mean that Barney Frank expected the Republicans to take over the House in 2010. In which case he would no longer be committee chairman and lose a lot of his clout anyway.
