I mean after all, she got a totally legitimate email from the former Nigerian Oil minister who just wanted her help securing a copy of this birth certificate and $345,900,000 in cash that had been unfortunately left locked in a safety deposit box in Somalia. For her trouble in securing the bulk of the cash she was given a 10 percent fee and a copy of the certificate. I mean, who amoung us here would not have jumped at that opportunity.

Excuse me, I have to go check my email...

No need for a site that lists the Rush sponsors. Just listen for a few minutes to his radio show (if you can handle it) and wait for the commercials. Wait for a local business, then call that business and tell them that you heard their ad on Rush's show and you will never do business with them. A few calls like that to local businesses really can rattle their cages and you can bet their local radio rep will hear about it and it will make it back to the program manager at the station.

Personally, I have no problem with higher energy prices, if the cause of the hikes is higher "taxes" that can be used for alternative energy research. The ONLY way to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels in this country is to make it too expensive. The American people are too numb to any other form of persuasion. When gas prices reached $4 a gallon last summer, we saw a reduction in consumption and the oil giants got scared and prices went down, leading to a return to high consumption.

Put in place a high tax, cap and trade, whatever you want to to call it. Drive prices up at the pump and people will start to conserve. It's the only way to do it.

If I were a MN resident, I'd be polling neighbors about filing a lawsuit claiming that Coleman's frivolous continual motions have denied me my equal protection, namely the protection of having TWO US senators looking out for the welfare of the state. MN is currently at a disadvantage by not having full representation in the Senate, due ONLY to the protraction of this contest by Coleman.

This might not hasten the end of the legal wrangling, but it might serve as a kick int he ass after it is all over, maybe as a civil suit brought against Norm after it is all over...

We voted this morning in Portland Maine with no problem. The line for a-k was three times as the line for l-z, so my we waited for my wife to finish while I watched the kids. Poll workers were pretty efficient and were registering voters right int he polling place.

Looks like a big turnout up here.

you get me wrong. I am not trying to disparage Hillary at all. She did what any politician would do, she tried to win. She softened the ground for what i hope will be an Obama victory. I would probably be saying the same thing about Obama if their roles were reversed.

I thought Hillary was an excellent candidate and at any other time, I would have thrown my full support behind her. I still like her.

All I am saying is that she ran a tough and smart campaign (far smarter than McCain) and tested the mettle of the Obama people. Alot of the ammunition that the Repubs would have been able to throw out there at the last minute was fully exposed long ago and ran itself out...
