I really can't imagine a partisan political motive behind this one, and anyway Wilkerson wasn't going to win the election anyway. If it were really political this would have come out before the tight primary battle she just lost to the challenger.

Secondly, last election she almost lost because she forgot to get enough signatures to be on the ballot so she had to do a sticker campaign, and then after she won the election it came out that she was about to be foreclosed on for failure to pay condo owner's fees. Everyone howled that this info was kept private until after the race, so maybe this time they weren't going to let her get away with it a second time.

And lastly, have you seen her wrap-sheet? She's been getting away with murder and I think she just got sloppy. The one thing I do wonder is if others are involved and they're trying to get her to squeal...
