Blagojevich Complaint: Individual C - Is It Dennis Hastert?

Individual C, mentioned in the Blagojevich Complaint, has not been thoroughly covered in the news. From Paragraph 67 of the complaint:

Individual C is a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives who is believed to be attempting to assist Rod Blagojevich in passing a capital bill worth billions of dollars that would benefit Highway Contractor 1 and the trade association with which he is affiliated
From The Washington Post:

According to news reports, Blagojevich recruited two former congressman -- ex-House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) and former Rep. Glenn Poshard (D-Ill.), president of Southern Illinois University -- to help out with the construction project. It is unclear if the unnamed lawmaker knew about Blagojevich's fundraising plans.

Hmmm, good call. But is there something else that makes it more interesting that I'm not seeing?

Hastert is the former speaker of the house. Boehner is now attempting to portray Democrats as being infected with a corruption, and unwilling to admit that in Illinois (as in all of American politics), corruption is not a function of party.

Do as I say and do not look into what I am actually doing. I will deny it anyway.
