Are you suggesting that infertile couples should get divorced? Are you suggesting that couples who have raised their children but are beyond the age of fertility should divorce since they can no longer have children? The shame is that she and her family had to undergo the scrutiny she was subjected to. Her mixed gender was unknown to them, and now she has been paraded in front of people who will judge her. If homosexuality is an abomination of nature, how do you explain its rampant occurrence among other mammalian species; dolphins, sea lions, chimpanzees, dogs, giraffes for example. Several of these animals have intellects that are very close to our own (by the standards of the animal kingdom in any case). If nature prohibited it, then these creatures would be extinct, which is not the case (although some are endangered due not to their sexual proclivities, but due to human activity). You argue that homosexuality is a choice, but there is, nor has their ever been scientific evidence to prove such a claim. Furthermore, in some ways homosexuality is the end game for another, natural human tendency- to fraternize with ones own gender. The fact that you feel homosexuals are 'unnatural', an 'abomination', and apparently unentitled to basic human rights shows little more than your own insecurities. I'm not saying that you yourself are a 'closeted, self-hating gay', but that you are inconfident enough in your heterosexual relationships to feel that 'the gay' de-legitimizes what YOU see as the natural way FOR YOU. You cannot dictate others' way of life, and if you were a true christian (meaning lived by the teachings of Jesus instead of an outdated literallist reading of Leviticus and Deuteronomy, you would dedicate your time to praying for their souls (as you obviously see them as hell-bound sinners) in an effort to help gain them that forgiveness (assuming Jesus et al. actually deem forgiveness necessary for such individuals) so that they may live in bliss in the kingdom of heaven, as opposed to your apparent self-proclaimed role as judge, jury, and executioner of life everlasting. Let me remind you that The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit make that decision, not you, and that their reading on the what is good and evil will differ greatly from your personal, misguided philosophy.
