A "SYSTEM OF THOUGHT"


Every thing is already here.  People and the Earth - but it takes a "system of thought" to make things work!

 

The Universe and the planets - the Earth and all its numerous resources already exist.  People, human beings already exist.  It is people who make things work.  Human beings are unique in their capacity for language, a method of understanding, or a system of education, all of which, constituting a framework for organization.  Nothing moves in an orderly manner without the Organizing Principle. 

 

Before the age of industrialization, people built great pyramids, great temples, great cathedrals or great walls.  They did not have to enter "the factory floor" at 8:00 O'clock in the morning.  The Greeks had philosophy and geometry and thus, architecture.  The Romans also had architecture, but also agriculture and great armies.  Each of their "systems of thought," respectively, served its purpose during the time they flickered as petty empires. 

 

What is really different in our times?  The answer rests in events that took place in the past 2,000 years, with the United States of America leading the way, based upon the fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead.  The Christian era transformed the Earth - from the little towns of Judea to Jerusalem, from Jerusalem to Rome, and to the four corners of the Earth!  In the same manner, at Gettysburg, on November 19, 1863, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed that this nation, under God shall have a new birth of freedom and that government of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth.  We have since then have so many "resurrections," they are too numerous to count.

 

The Earth, people and a "system of thought" to make things work!  It sounds so simple and yet it is the most complicated equation in the whole Universe, so complex as to escape any formulaic expression.   

 

Not every land is blessed with every resource - nations have to trade and engage in commerce to obtain that which they lack naturally.  In addition, systems of education differ from country to country, and priorities differ from nation to nation.  Some nations are still at the agrarian stage, others are still "industrializing" - they are referred to as "developing" or "underdeveloped."  Here, in the United States, we are mistakenly referred to as "post-industrial."  However, it is because some productive activities which our workers engaged in formerly, have been transplanted overseas to other nations that are still "industrializing."

 

After the Fall of the Roman Empire, Italy divided into "principalities," and as the peoples in its provinces and territories moved to fashion themselves into new systems of organization, emerged from this evolution of the Organizing Principle, little kingdoms that vied for control of the European Continent and the Earth - the French Empire, the Spanish Empire, the British Empire, the Portuguese Empire, the Dutch Empire etc...etc...etc... 

 

Meanwhile, the Holy Roman Catholic Church had homogenized Christian moral principles and the Judeo-Christian tradition, almost all over the Earth.  This hegemony led to the Protestant Reformation from which accrued diverse church denominations that continued the enculturation, education and application of the tradition.  They preached, encouraged and nurtured the work ethic, scientific inquiry, freedom of thought and expression, thrift, honest dealings, liberty, justice, honor, merit, prosperity and other similar principles and concepts that edified the congregation for good works and happiness on Earth.   This "pursuit of happiness" will have given rise to the Magna Carta, and also to Bacon, Montesquieu, Locke, Newton, Rousseau, Hume, and a host of other creative geniuses who were too glad to expose their views in writings to the world.  The printing press had been invented and in 1611, King James of Great Britain sponsored the translation and publication of the Holy Bible, which to this day, bears his imprint - the King James Version Bible, in old English.  In 1776, Adam Smith wrote and published "An Inquiry into Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations." 

 

In that same year, Americans declared their independence from the British Empire - on July 4th , 1776, they published the Declaration of Independence that gave birth to the United States of America.  That was before Marxist socialism, published in 1848.

 

The Organizing Principle in the United States of America sounded the death knell of every "ism," safe one - Capitalism.  The Judeo-Christian tradition is based upon freedom of religion, liberty of worship and freedom of conscience, which creates an environment of constructive liberty for individuals and of self-restraint on government that must submit to constitutional checks and balances.  We have a system of representative elected government based upon the federal principle, itself nourished by the concept of self-government.  Our economic system is based upon free enterprise whereby individual entrepreneurs enjoy the God-given liberty to lawfully pursue commercial, work and business interests.

 

The Earth, people and a "system of thought" to make things work!  Let those who have ears, hear and understand!

 

The Earth, We The People and American Exceptionalism.  The modern era of liberty and prosperity began here in AD 1776!   Human rights come from God, our Creator and these rights are inalienable.

Let those in Washington D.C. and every where else in this land who have prospered in our midst beyond their wildest expectations remember this - socialism did not get them there.  This is the United States of America.

When are these "human rights" going to be fulfilled to all here on earth in this greatest country of prosperity?

Will this occur before or after the resurrection of the dead and the rapio?

Please, no disrespect intended, but if humans weren't here 'things' would still work. Thought isn't needed for photosynthesis, or gravity, or chemical/nuclear reactions.

This doesn't even make sense, government is socialism. They take resources, usually money, and they distribute it by need. Property taxes in Texas are a prime example because they finace the school districts. I don't have children, yet the family across the street has 3. A family down the street doesn't pay property taxes because they live in an apartment, yet all the children in the neighborhood receive the same education, that is socialism. From roads, to libraries, to almost anything the government builds is socialism. So please spare me the socialism boogie man, all functioning governments are a form of socialism.

The problem is republicans. They are cool with taking my taxes to educate their kids, but as soon as there is a program in which they pay in and don't receive, it's the socialism boogie man out front and center. No health care for the the uninsured, but don't forget the four grand in property taxes to educate my children. To hell with my uninsured sister. They have no problem using my tax dollars to bomb women and children in the name of democracy, yet god forbid their tax dollars go to feeding homeless children.

I pay my taxes (because it's the law) but I don't complain, because educating our children is good for the country as a whole, I just wish republicans would grasp the fact that treating the injured and sick is also good for the country as a whole.

For the record, cave men hunting is socialism, they feed the group while others made clothing picked berries and all the other functions needed for the survival of the group. So socialism was around well before 1848, just as democracy was around well before 1776.

End of socialism rant and I wasn't inferring your were this or that party. Most of this wasn't aimed at the author.

It is true that "nature just is" -- in the sense that inanimate things, events, objects and processes do not think nor have emotions, but just proceed in accordance with pre-designed routines that need no human assistance, such as gravity, earth rotation and revolution, etc . . .

But we are talking about government structure, administration and processes, as well as social products, goods and services, whose transactions have consequences for life, liberty, justice, merci, and prosperity.

For example, if you go to the hospital for complicated surgery like a heart by-pass, you need both faith and thought -- FAITH that the surgeon will not make a mistake and kill you while you are unconscious under anaesthetic narcotics, and FAITH that you will be properly, safely and healthily revived for post-surgical care; and THOUGHT - that the surgeon had a good mind as a medical student, for residency, practice, experience and employment, so as to not only know what he is doing but to do it well, without endangering your life in the process.

Why are you exercising THOUGHT AND FAITH in the surgeon's skills, ability, honesty and integrity by "going under" while he operates on you? Because you are basing your behavior on trust while not being conscious of his own actions -- you have faith and trust you will live afterwards.
You are totally unconscious while he has complete freedom of action upon your person and body.

Thus, you are also hoping that there is a match or correspondence between your mind and his mind (good expectations from medical skills) and between your faith and his faith (your trust that he has confidence, trust and faith in his own capacity to operate on you successfully so that you will continue to live thereafter.)

Yes, gravity, rotation, revolution, sun-shining etc. . . go on as pre-programmed by our Creator from the beginning. But it takes miners to extract the metal ores from the depth of the earth for additional creative processing by other workers, from which we obtain iron and steel, for example. And, as in the example of the surgeon above, "It is people who make things work."
