Is there anyone who made this prediction earlier on here?

All right Professor, 1,000 points are hereby awarded you in our Daily Prediction Award for this here TPMCafe Site, given to all of you from all of me.

Ah..er..since you are the first to receive this honor, the COMMITTEE has not yet decided what you can do with the points.

But I assure you we are working on it!!!

Now, just to be clear.... Yes, you get 1,000 points for predicting Sotomayor'd be nominated. However. If she's blocked from taking the bench, you have to suffer certain consequences.

I can't provide any more detail that, but if a team of Navy Seals shows up at your door, let's just say that's pretty much the start of things.

I'm gonna kick in 50 points from my own personal stash of, well, points. Just because. Well done professor. p.s. 50 bonus points if you can predict what I'm gonna snack on next.

How bout a hat? If experience has taught me anything, it's that "contest" = "someone is going home with a hat." Ideally, the winner of said hat should immediately and forthwith place it in the back of a closet to ripen for 10+ years before finally breaking down and wearing it to fish and/or attend a children's sporting event.

In a pinch, a ceremonial belt buckles could work, too.
