Palin caught reversing herself several times on Firing Scandal.

I know you're not supposed to just post links, but this video really speaks for itself.

Over 87% of Alaskans think their own governor is lying.

Palin Lies.

Waiter/Waitress Test with Barack and John

I was often told and many of you have heard of the Waiter/Waitress test, which is the idea that a person can be determined by how they treat and are perceived by those who serve them.

Well these aren't waitresses/waiters per se by Flight Attendants or high speed snack technicians as they snarkily refer to themselves. Anywho, found these two stories on a website for F/A swapping stories about various celebrities they have had on board.

I had Barrack Obama (Democratic Presidential hopeful) on a flight from IAH to DCA after Hurricane Katrina - Sept 05. He was traveling alone. I was working first class and there was one seat left open after everyone boarded. He was first on the upgrade list. I was excited b/c I had read about him in TIME magazine. Anyway HE TURNED THE UPGRADE DOWN !!!! The agent told me that he said to her "I don't want to draw any attention to myself."

In all my years of flying I have NEVER seen someone traveling alone turn down an upgrade to first class. Sometimes if they are traveling with someone and they would rather remain with them in coach. But, a politican who doesn't want attention???!!!! This was almost 2 years ago so he wasn;t trying to put on a show. He was just a very humble man who remained in coach with the people he was elected to serve.

Senator McCain (UGH!!! He wouldn't respond to me until I addressed him as "Senator McCain" then he would smirk. He never asked for anything. He just wanted to be left alone. I guess it was a good thing I never asked him why he had a bandaid on his forehead!)

Thought you guys would enjoy. :)

Hillaryis44.org asks "When will Obama concede?"

When Will Obama Concede?

Obama is unelectable and not qualified to be president.

On the night Obama lost South Dakota (Obama’s own projections had him winning South Dakota by 15 percent) he spoke in the same hall in which Mondale conceded to the Reagan landslide.

Obama will either concede now or in November.

Obama won’t win Democrats he needs to win (like the Democrats on this very website). In state after state many Democrats clearly state they will either NOT vote, vote for the unacceptable John McCain, or write in Hillary’s name. That Democrats, many who have never voted for a Republican or nightmared about voting for a Republican, to say they will vote for a Republican is shocking and foreshadows doom for the Democratic? Party in November - if Superdelegates actually vote for Rezko/Ayres/Pfleger/Wright/Farrakhan’s friend - Obama.

Hillary supporters will not vote for Obama on any ticket. Last night, at the Hillary rally, the shouts were Denver, Denver - not tears nor surrender.

Watch out for that cold front hell!

Hillary will concede tonight.

THIS IS...

Michelle and Whitey and Black Islam and Yellow Journalism

Well, there is a tape, apparently, but it doesn't say Whitey, it says Why'd he... in reference to President Bush.

The transcript is as follows:

From what I understand, it is a tape of Michelle Obama criticizing the Bush administration.

How you'd write it:

Why did Bush cut folks off medicaid?
Why did Bush let New Orleans drown?
Why did Bush do nothing about Jena?
Why did Bush put us in Iraq for no reason?

How you'd say it:

Why'd he cut folks off medicaid?
Why'd he let New Orleans drown?
Why'd he do nothing about Jena?
Why'd he put us in Iraq for no reason?

How Larry Johnson wants you to hear it:

Whitie cut folks off medicaid?
Whitie let New Orleans drown?
Whitie do nothing about Jena?
Whitie put us in Iraq for no reason?

I would expect to see this drop the day before the election, just enough time to get some airing on the evening news, but not enough time for a retraction since the claims are completely ridiculous. Larry Johnson the purveyor of this tape has been trumpeting this for weeks, ala Larry Sinclair and the gay sex and drugs party. He also claims that Louis Farrahkhan will appear along side Michelle and that Obama's campaign is rife with Farrahkhan operatives.

Even republican supporters are a bit skeptical : "

FYI, for those expecting to SEE the tape, GET REAL. Read Larry Johnson’s description of what is ON the tape. That is the story.

The tape is REAL. Larry Johnson’s description of what is on the tape is two degrees removed from what is REAL.

And I am not a Hillary supporter. I am a McCain supporter. We don’t need rumor and unsupported innuendo to elect John McCain. "

Many other comments on his blog are also calling him into question, this being friendly neocon territory.

"

For those that expect to see the tape, get real???

More like … get real and show the tape.

Showing it = making it real. Talking about what is on it = keeping it unreal.

I would expect to see this blowing up, like I said very close to the election with little or no time to respond. However, the email smears not substantiated in reality have done alot with Obama's numbers, how many are people looking for an excuse not to vote for him and how many are actually being swayed by this information, I'm not sure.

An appalling cover illustration of Obama in sniper crosshairs!

No, this isn't stormfront or some lunatic fringe NRA site, this is a newspaper in north Georgia with a circulation of about 65,000. The photo shows Obama with a crosshairs centered on his heart as if looking through a rifle scope.

"Good, bad or ugly, we tell the truth," he said.

Fredericks and senior editor Tim Altork said there was little internal debate over the appropriateness of the imagery, though they were aware it was likely to create a stir.

"We knew we were on the provocative edge," Altork said. "But it's a very fair piece, a smart piece."

The article was pitched and reported by veteran freelance journalist Alan Sverdlik, who said he was curious how law enforcement agencies were handling the increased number of threats lodged against Obama by white supremacist groups, some of whom are based around north Fulton. Sverdlik said Tuesday he had not seen the cover and had no input in its development.

The Beacon's publisher said the art "projected the story," one which he believes serves a valuable public interest: "We're hoping federal law enforcement takes notice."

So far, however, the content inside has been obscured by the furor over its illustration.

"Their slogan is 'responsibly provocative,'" wrote Miami teacher Rian Fike. "This is irresponsibly inflammatory.

As fearlessly as they "defend" their fear mongering piece it is noteworthy the online edition has had its frontpage changed while the article is still there. I encourage you to email the editor and express your displeasure at this incendiary piece of KKK masturbation material.

Hillary's claims popular vote lead.

It's something so ridiculous, I had to check the article to make sure the byline didn't say Genghis. This had always been suggested by a few surrogates a trial balloon just to buy time not something to build a campaign on, but now it seems they've embraced it and are appearing less and less likely to make a graceful party saving exit. Remember that warm and fuzzy feeling we were starting to get for Clinton again. She was going to have a graceful exit, advisors secretly assured the press, she'd never press on to the convention. There was even talk of joining campaigns. Well, she's pressing a new argument where she's  ahead in the popular vote cause she's not counting caucuses while including MI and FL of course.

Clinton's claim to the popular vote includes counting ballots in Florida and Michigan - two states that chose to schedule early primaries in defiance of party rules - and doesn't count caucus states such as Iowa, where numbers have never been released.

Clinton said she and Obama are "still separated by less than 200 delegates out of more than 4,400" - and that neither candidate will have reached the magic number needed to take the nomination "when the voting ends on June 3."

She drew cheers when she told Kentucky voters she would continue the fight "until we have a nominee - whomever she may be."

Find the article here. For the longest time I felt that it was a few hardcore Obama partisans that were envisioning this nightmare scenario. Gang, I'm starting to get the feeling she's gonna go Samson on us and pull down the temple over her. As a UK paper cheekily intoned today, "Missing: One Concession Speech."

"McCommie" bans guns

Just to give you an idea what McCain is up against appease his core conservative base. There's a lot of outrage over the Secret Service banning guns at his pander, er, speech at the NRA convention today. Now, any sane person realizes you can't have a senator, possible future president in a room full of people packing heat, but these are people that don't visit reality that often.

An informal survey find that 75% are very angry at McCain's attempt to not be assassinated.

Some sample comments:

This action on McCommie's part, and inaction on the NRA's part, shows what they really are. Its a slap in the face to all Liberty loving people. These lowlifes apparently dont understand that THEY are supposed to FEAR US. This also shows what McCommie is: If the NRA was what it claimed to be they would drive McCommie from the state, or better yet hang him from the nearest light pole or tree. We must recognize this evil for the cancer it is or we will become like England:

He doesn't have to come,If he doesn't trust us screw him!

Guns will not be allowed in the Celebration of American Values Forum That's rich. Come celebrate your American Values, but be sure to check your second amendment at the door. Maybe after some of the anti-gun votes McCain has cast, he's afraid to be around armed gun owners. Ron Paul has a 20 year congressional voting record that is 100% PRO-GUN. He'll be speaking at a rally at the Palace Theater this Saturday from 1-4 PM. The campaign had asked the NRA if he could address their members and was told no. Why is the NRA pseudo-endorsing McCain, a senator with an F rating from the Gun Owners of America, and snubbing Ron Paul, the ONLY pro-gun candidate in the race? I think I'm going to send the GOA a donation so THEY can fight or my gun rights.

Hillary is the unstoppable V.P.

A commenter envisions a frightening plausible "nightmare" scenario where Clinton true believers muscle a V.P. nod at the convention.

You imagine being on the floor in Denver. Hillary's delegates, NEARLY HALF THE DELEGATES, are demanding she be on the ticket. These are true believers who have stuck with Clinton through thick and thin. To them, putting Hillary on the ticket is a crusade.

Most Clinton delegates are women, most Democratic voters are women, and they're going to just accept some middle aged white governor that Obama is rumored to want? No way. They are in your face. Hillary supporters from back home are jamming your Blackberry. This and more horror scenes flash through your mind in a nano second.

Then it occurs to you; if the roles were reversed and Obama came close to winning and wanted to be the vice presidential candidate, could you imagine the convention saying no?

Clinton," If we get your commitment now (we've already got a bunch of Obama super delegates to support her) we don't have to take a vote or fight in Denver. With Hillary's pledged delegates and a hundred or so super delegates we'll be over 2026 before the end of June. Saves Barack the hassle of picking a running mate and we can be united against McCain on day one."

Are you going to tell the former president of the United States no again? Anyway you convince yourself it's a great ticket and will help Obama in those big swing states. "I'm with you Mr. President". Clinton," I knew I could count on you". You want to bet there aren't 20% of the super delegates who would buy this deal? We're talking super delegates here, not profiles in courage.

If Hillary Clinton wants the vice presidential nomination, and her loyal delegates demand it, and the Clinton machine puts its full weight behind it, she will be on the ticket.

Clinton is losing because of Sexism

Or so say the group "Clinton Supporters Count Too:

An Ohio-based group of Democratic Hillary Clinton supporters say they’ll work actively against Sen. Barack Obama if he becomes the nominee, arguing that Clinton has been the subject of “intense sexism” by party leaders and the media.

With growing calls for Clinton to leave the race, she said, women feel like “we’re being told to sit down, shut up, and get with the program.”

Cheney's Sense of Moral Outrage

I just couldn't resist this ironic bit of zen as one headline ferociously mocks the other.

Josh Marshall Blogger of the Year

Apparently our great benefactor, the grand poohbah, the prince of punditry, the acme of analysis, the best blogger, the... uh stop me before I alliterate again. Anywho, Josh is too modest to toot his own horn. So I toot-toot in his stead:
Josh Marshall won "Blogger of the Year" award (in absentia) at The Week magazine's Opinion Awards dinner at the Four Seasons hotel Tuesday night.

Marshall won the award for his relentless coverage of the U.S. attorneys firings scandal -- and the White House's behind-the-scenes role in the firings.

Since Rove himself was accused of having a role in the firings, the moment was a bit awkward.

Marshall, who also won a George Polk Award for his work on the story, posted thousands of internal Justice Department e-mails and memos on his blog, which became mandatory reading for anyone following the unfolding

Hillary contests NCAA's final

Ms. Clinton stated that Memphis, while losing the game, had actually shown more ability to act like a National Champion on Day One. She argued that Memphis had passed every test during the game, including scoring more points than Kansas for 38 minutes. For 38 minutes they had shown the experience necessary to be National Champion. "Just because some team comes along in the last minute and scores more points than the other guy doesn't mean they're necessarily able to be National Champion on Day One."

I wanted to share this great satire with you guys. I can't claim credit, click the link to read it all.

CNN's new Toy

CNN has a great new delegate calculator that begins with PA includes all the contests between now and the end and even lets you slide the uncommitted superdelegates from one column to the other.

I gamed this very favorably towards Clinton, giving her 20 point wins in PA, KY, WV, IN and Puerto Rico. I gave Obama 10 point wins in NC, OR, and MT and split the remaining superdelegates evenly among the two. Even with this rosy scenario Clinton loses by nearly 100 and Obama reaches up and over the magical 2025 number. This nicely demonstrates the quixotic quest Clinton is currently on.

Obama's popular vote lead?

Instapundit finds that nearly all of Obama's current popular vote lead comes from one county in Illinois. I'm an Obama cheerleader, but does this threaten his claim to a legitimate lead?
