<p>As I read the NYT story, Truman's attorney now believes they were wrong in asserting that executive privilege allowed the former president to ignore the subpoena and not show up. He doesn't explicitly say whether he's changed his mind on whether the privilege would allow a former president to refuse to answer particular questions.</p>]]>
