BHO, I hope you're considering taking some advice, b/c what you need is fresh ideas that take you out of the lose-despite-everything, DLC strategies. Turn this thing around and beat them the way they beat us, but attacking the percieved strngths of your opponent. And I don't mean his policies. Nobody cares anymore about details. We need a meme, and we need it now. My proposal (to paraphrase): John McCain is a wuss, a stupid, weak-willed, avaricious patsy. Follow on with the true history of the Rovian attacks in SC in 2000. They intimated that he was gay, driven insane by VC torture, and that he had an "oreo" bastard child. Fightin' words for a real man, invitation to suck Bush's ass through 2008 for John Sidney McCain III. We have ample media resources to paint this picture. Fealty to incompetence and acquiescence to imprisonment and torture. Real men stand by their principals, John Sidney did not.
