Follow the Leader

Josh points to this as an example of spastic good-jobism, but there's another element at work here. Who leads and who follows?

McCain's instinct is to follow Obama.

Something similar happened in the debate with Brokaw. Brokaw warned Obama about the time and Obama said he would keep talking because it was an important point to clarify. When McCain wanted more time he asked permission.

While not overtly noticed by the audience, I think it's these sorts of things people mean when they say that Obama "looks" more presidential. That, and he's not twitching and grimacing like an overdosed caffeine fiend.

Did McCain Make These Signs?

A co-worker attended the Biden talk here in Tampa last week and noted that no outside signs were allowed inside. At the door signs were handed to audience, including some that looked "home-made."

Are the rules more lax at a McCain rally? Or, are these signs "Obama bin Lyin'" actually made by the McCain campaign?
