Tis the season. The video is hilarious and Burnedout has provided a good column on this.
I just had a thought. Have you ever had a wife or a friend who just HAD to find the CLOSEST PARKING SPOT AVAILABLE. And depending upon the relationship you just said, look, we can WALK half a block. We are not going to be carrying a couch.
In the old days when I did go shopping--and never never never go shopping with a woman--if I was in one of those moods I would wait and shop another day.
