Wolfson's Article
Josh posted about Howard Wolfson's article with a headline that said "good for him," which to me seems dismissive. Call me naive, but I see Wolfson's words as a genuine mea culpa. I can understand why, from the inside of a campaign, it would be hard to "get" what the enemy's about.
Wolfson explained his evolution in a way that makes sense. And he came on board. In my heart, he is warmly welcomed. Whatever judgments we've shared about Wolfson, now is the time to let them go. It takes a big man to write something like that. He could have come to the Convention wearing Puma's and made a point of being seen that way (like Carville). Instead, he came with an open mind and an open heart.
So, to Wolfson, I say welcome aboard the Obama Express, brother.
