Joe Lieberman is a putz.  I think we all agree on that. 

I first became aware of this fact during the 2000 election when he started talking about religion and then - couldn't stop.  The rest is well known history.."Joementum!", spewing out the Republican Iraqi talking points on Fox News, basking in the reflected, albeit faded, glory of John McCain.  He gets a little bit of attention and can't help himself.  He is a putz.

It was a bit disheartening to see the Senate Democrats give their absolution, apparently at the direction of Obama.  But one thing we have learned from Obama is that he is usually right.  So perhaps he knows what he is doing.

I predict that Lieberman, all caught up in the moment, will fall right in line with the Dems.  In fact he will be on the Sunday talkers cheerleading Obama and the Dems.   We would absolutely love it - if it weren'tt for that whiny, nasaly voice. 

He will still be a putz, but he will be our putz once again.
