Who is the TOTALLY REAL Barack Obama?

I'm only one man, but as a concerned citizen and a patriotic American, I have to speak up about the assertion that Barack Obama's associations aren't being explored.  The man is clearly getting a free pass by the liberal media.  Bill Ayers?  Reverend Pfleger?  Reverend Wright?  None of the things I've been hearing about in the last two weeks were addressed or examined in any detail during the Democratic primary.  I didn't hear any of these names on tv.  Where were the so-called pundits?  Why weren't any questions asked during the debates?  We want to know what we're getting into, right?

We need to explore the man's relationships.  While we're at it, let's explore Senator Obama's religious persuasion as well.  I hear his radical black liberation-espousing Christian church is actually an atheist hindu madrassa.  And can we find out if he's really multi-racial too?  He keeps talking about having a white mother and white grandparents, but it might not be true.  How do we know he had a proper white upbringing?  How do we KNOW?  He might be an illegal immigrant from Mexico.  Is anyone exploring that?  I heard he might have only been able to get into Harvard because of affirmative action (and frankly, I can't imagine a black, mexican-american from a Hawaiian madrassa in Chicago would be smart enough to get into Harvard on his own merit, white family or not).  This needs to be thoroughly investigated.

And has anyone thrust a guitar into the man's hands while he was wearing tight purple pants and high-heeled boots?  He might be Prince!  Has anyone looked around in his radical, political machine-style Chicago neighborhood for caves or waterfalls?  He might be Batman!  And if he's not Batman, are we sure he isn't Iron Man?  Robert Downey, Jr. seems to be just the type of shifty-eyed, "alternative lifestyle" Hollywood librul who would cover for him by holding a press conference with Gwyneth Paltrow and claiming to be Iron Man to shift the focus off of Barack ISLAMICJIHAD Obama.  What if he is Prince AND Batman AND Iron Man?!?!?!  Can you imagine what the world would think of us if we elected this guitar playing, crime fighting, billionaire playboy, inventor-terrorist President?

I know John McCain.  I know Joe Biden.  I know Sarah Palin.  We've been hearing from them for  years.  But this Barack Obama fella came out of nowhere.  Who is the REALLY REAL Barack Obama?  There are only a few weeks until the election!  We don't have much time, and we should really find out before it's too late...

That One

As I'm sure most of folks know by now, John McCain found a way to sink to a new low last night.  After being unable to look his opponent in the eye during the first Presidential Debate, he was able to achieve that staggering feat of humility...  A victory for decorum, to be sure.  Unfortunately, he couldn't let his disdain for Barack Obama fly below the radar, at one point dismissively, derisively referring to him as "That One".  That what exactly?

Enough.

If John McCain doesn't understand where the line is, it is time for the American electorate to show him where the line is.  When your supporters are shouting "Kill him!" and "Terrorist!" about a fellow U.S. Senator during your rallies, and neither you nor your incompetent running mate feel the need to do anything about it or address it in any meaningful way, what does it say about you?  It says you've violated the public trust.  It says you've lost track of the basic outlines of human decency.  It says you've violated your vows for an issues-based campaign.  It says you've lost your bearings and you no longer know how to run the honorable campaign you promised the American people.  So maybe John McCain doesn't know anything about honor.  Maybe he doesn't have any principles.  Maybe he doesn't know when to say "Enough is Enough."  But we do.  Got ten bucks?  Five?  One?

Speak up.

"That one."  It's unfortunate that Senator McCain had the right response but the wrong question.  Which of the two men we saw last night has the intellect, the composure, the demeanor, the presence, and the judgment to be the next President of the United States?  To restore America's place in the international community and to represent us faithfully and effectively among world leaders?  To serve the people who count rather than the people who are counting our money?

That one, Senator McCain.  That one.
