Well . . .
I personally rely on eyenwitness accounts ...
As much as I travel this wide expanse of country of ours, in addition to the neighborhoods, boroughs, and hollows that I visit, all one needs to do is open their damn eyes, shut-off their iPods, put their bluetooth in their pocket, shut their pie-holes and observe and listen to the people.
I don't need scientific studies...

Mr. Day gives out Dayly and Knightly Awards, daily and nightly.
The Heavy Petal Award is given out only once a year.
Olden Golden Decoy, I hereby award you the 2009 Heavy Petal Award for the above profound statement signifying that it's just not that damn hard to know what the hell is going on around you!

It is sooooooooo strange, really, after eight long years, listening to someone who knows how to speak and who along with is writers, can weave a thought together.
That is what pissed off repubs about Clinton and what really pisses them off about My President. No one on their side can do this. Not in any oratorical fashion anyway.
90 seconds. In that time he weaves in a truth about social mobility for Blacks with health care and education.
Really makes you want to hear the entire speech. But he always does that for me.
Thank you OGD

OGD, thank you for stating, so clearly, that links and stats are not everything, even though you are one who so consistently provides them, willing to devote the time it takes to locate, identify and note them.
