Thank you for being ever so clear and correct to draw the line in the sand, House Progressives! I am committed to do everything I can to de-throne any blue dog or conservadem in the Senate if they do not support a public option.
In my mind, there are only two possibilities for what is going on politically; (1: Obama is willingly to spend some capital and draw every fucking republican out until they actually vote against health care reform so clearly the blame will rest on any politician who blocks it or (2: he has already dealt away the public option and wants to salvage anything he can so health care reform gets thru the Senate and he can then claim victory.
Obama is the ultimate communicator and speech giver so why are we dangling everyday on what the fuck is the message. Let's assume Obama is the most honest and ethical man to be President so why isn't he taking control and serving the people who elected him to office while the GOP Senators can go out and speak lies and utilize the most unethical talking points of fear and pandering. Obama still praises these GOP hacks as working hard for health care reform.
I don't see any other scenarios that explain this constant message battle w/in his White House and he inability to articulate his "line drawn in the sand". What do you think?
