Chris Van Hollen, the Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, did not deny the Democratic Party would not oppose cuts to Social Security last night when interviewed by Cenk Uygur. This will be the last straw for the dems if that becomes a reality and the dems vote in anyway to cut Social Security benfits! Is there any better case for a reverse Robin Hood scenario than this kinda of position. Mr. Robert Gibbs said that the 'Professional Left" is on drugs when the White Hhouse or Obama is critized but we see now who is on drugs, it is the leadership oif the Democratic Party and it will be their end and not because of the "professional left" or progressives!

The GOP has already lost on the Extension of Unemployment Benefits but decided to exercise under Senate rules to object on a request to proceed to a vote. They feel that there are no consequences for playing out the rules of the Senate thus still adding to the pain and misery level of the middle class.

Do you care enough about about your friends, family members and neighbors who will have lost their unemployment benefits by the end of this month to demand that something be done? It really speaks to the desparte state of existence that the Senate have left these people in to by letting this happen. Hope and despair are setting in and the quality of our culture is in a crisis. Crime and violence will esclate and the anger is building. Take a break Mr and Ms Senators and go campaigning, vacationing and fund raising while trouble looms ahead. Where is the money? If the DOJ appeals this ruling, it will mark a very sad day for justice for all in America. I am so fed up with Eric Holder's views on justice and the reality that this blantan discrimination will be upheld by the DOJ. With so many issues coming forward, I'm left convinced that Holder is not the right person for the job and Obama is not the champion of human rights. Democratic Party Leaders have lost their minds when they have bailed on the unemployed. I can not fathom their rationale and it will cost the party big time come the fall elections. Not only are people hurting but the unemployment benefits keep hope alive and are a stimulus for the economy. All I can say is that this failure will hurt those running for re-election and the Democratic Party Leaders are deserving of a huge backlash! The Senate and House should stay in session with no recess until benefits are restored. Sen. Reid must not send the Senate home for a recess until they get a Jobs Bill and extend Unemployment Benefits! Punish the Republicans and fight for the real issue of jobs and the desparation that the unemployed feel today. Does anyone care? Make it absolutely clear that the fate of these Americans depend on the democratic party's ability to fight and fight hard to stop this insanity! Use tactics that have the repukes voting a hundred times to defeat the jobs bill over and over again!

The anger is building and don't be surprised come this fall when the middle class shows it's discontent with those who didn't fight with everything they have to create more jobs and pass the necessary extension of unemployment behefits!

If the Democratic Party wants to be considered seriously by the Democratic Party base, the Senate Majority  Leader will cancel the upcoming vacation until the Jobs Bill and Financial Reform bills get through the Senate before the recess. Otherwise. he is turning on the people who need help the most and are already in desparate shape. If he lets the Senate recess, he will have missed the opportunity to be a leader and the chances come this fall will turn very, very bleak for the dems.

We need the Jobs Bill and the country needs "true balls to the walls" leadership. Crush, the Republicans with the clear message how they don't care about millions of Americans! Sadly, I don't have faith that Harry has the balls and doesn't care that much!

The judge who refuses to grant a stay to the ban on deep well drilling needs to understand that there is precedent to send the troops in to shut down these operations. This judge is so out of bounds and is needing a kick in the ass to alone decide that there are no compelling interests from the DOJ and The White House to propose this ban. Gov. George Wallace had to face federal troops for his opposition to intregration and history tells us how far he got! forece his hand and look to impeach his ass off the bench! Mr. President, do you really want to be a one term President? Ouch, this one really hurts you and your base. The small tax cuts we got for the middle class was more of a symbol of the change we voted for rather a nice chunk of change in our pockets. Loss of 900,000 State and Local Jobs are at stake at this point and Nelson seems ready to pull his stance of obstruction again. He got away with this tactic during HCR and Obama did not stand in his way. So what is the lesson here - that an individual Senator is more powerful than the President. Why can't Obama call Nelson into his office and advise him that his career as a democratic Senator is over and his bullshit will not fly this time. Obama has shown time after time that he caves and makes deals with the members of his own party at the expense of his agenda and the well being of the party and the country. Nelson must feel pretty powerful to make such ridiculous demands and know he can get away with it. If Obama wants a second term, he must learn what it takes to be a President with power and know how to use it.

Really, Mr. President, you want to know why you are losing the base of the democratic party and why there is a lack of energy propelling your party towards the fall elections. Whose side are you on?
