Bob Schaffer - trying to risk your Social Security on Wall Street
Bob Schaffer wants to gamble with your Social Security benefits. His fractured logic says that risking your Social Security contributions on Wall Street will be the right thing to do to insure future benefit levels.

Agree with the sentiments, hate the ad. For one, it leaves out younger people- they are, and should be concerned about their Social security, too- and now is the time to illustrate that. I think , overall, this ad is kinda clumsy.

You guys are missing the point. Privatizing does not equal putting it in the stock market. But it does mean giving choices to individuals. If I had control of my own social security funds, I could invest it in Treasuries, corporate bonds, equities, etc.
