Sorry I didn't make it clear, my point wasn't that they are stupid but that it takes something a little bit catchier to stick with them because they are not paying as much attention. You only have to think of music and how the catchiest tunes are the simple ones which stick in your head.

I like that line although I wish he would have used simpler language something that would easily hit home to low information voters and be fodder for the cable news networks. I think if he had said, "Even his own running mate has disowned his robo calls, I mean just how far do you have to go with your negative campaigning, before you go too far for Sarah Palin?" If he says that and just leaves the question hanging out there I think it would have a lot of impact both as a sound-bite for cable and as a substantive question.
