STEPHANOPOULOS: One more foreign policy question. You were in Libya last week with Colonel Gadhafi. You tweeted and said it was an interesting meeting at his ranch with an interesting man, yet we see today the Lockerbie bomber returns to a hero's welcome.

Did you talk to the Colonel about that?


Stephanopoulus slow pitch softball the obvious "Did you talk about the Lockerbie bomber" when McCain's response on the release of the only man convicted of the TWA bombing that killed over 200 Americans is so obvious that McCain's handlers must have written the question themselves to get heat off McCain for paling around with Gadhafi, a terrorist mastermind.

Stephanopoulus did not ask:

"What did you find interesting about a man who was declared a terrorist sponsor and who was bombed on the orders of Ronald Reagan after being linked to two attacks that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of American citizens?"

or

"Do you believe it sent the wrong message to sleep at Colonel Gadhafi's ranch?"

or

"What exactly did you discuss with this dictator and terrorist"

or

"During your campaign your running mate said Obama 'paled around with terrorists', isn't that what you were doing in sleeping over at Gadhafi's ranch in Libya?"


What do you expect from George Stephanopoulus when he has McCain on almost twice a month, and apparently vacations with the man and his family and has just sent a Tweet:
