I just had a wonderful birthday brunch with a certain Cheekhen whom we all know and love, and the added treat of seeing her daughter again. The two of them were sweet enough to drive all the way down here and take me out for my birthday, and they gave me the funniest card (it talks!!) and a sweet gift.
I don't know what I did to deserve such awesome friends, but I'm grateful all the same.
