Nicholas Carr is the author, most recently, of The Big Switch: Rewiring the World, from Edison to Google. He also wrote the much-discussed article Is Google Making Us Stupid? in the Atlantic Monthly. His next book, The Shallows, will be published in 2010. Nick blogs sporadically at Rough Type.
