What's changed?
McCain is running for President on his military credentials.  No War: No reason to elect McCain

Granted Haiti and Somalia aren't the same as Iraq but his current talking point about needing to 'win the war' is curiously at odds with his opinion then.  It is too bad his concern for American lives is less important than his political ambitions these days.

 

Here is a video of Obama addressing the staff at his headquarters after clinching the nomination.

It is every bit as good as his stump speeches but I thought more personal.  He also makes some really good points about the election.

To paraphrase:  While the primaries were important, the stakes weren't as high because if they stumbled  - another qualified Democrat would still win and everything would be fine.  However, now that they have won, the burden is on him/the staff.  They HAVE to win, the entire country is depending on them.

It is a pretty inspiring rallying of the troops and a good insight into an Obama administration.
