Disappointment vs. Hope
I want to bring two particular dailyKos posts (diaries, over there) to the attention of the TPM community. The first post is a sincere lament by a progressive who's disappointed over the direction Pres. Obama seems to be going. The second is an equally excellent response to that lament. We've been having this debate as well.

Not just for the content, but for the manner in which these two messages were delivered, I hope that many will view these links.
Both articulate their viewpoints with facts and clarity. Interesting, informative and insightful posts.

Among the several things which strikes me about those two posts is how honest, reasonable, respectful, and yet passionate they both are.

Someone should follow up with the idea about broadcasting a health conference on C-SPAN so we, the American public, can see all of the players in one room. We get to see who says what and where to place are anger. There would be so much less confusion.
The town hall on ABC was a sham; and there were too many commercials. My health care isn't for sale.
