Losers of the Week: 10-11-09

It's been an interesting week of politics and I thought I would list my favorite LOSERS OF THE WEEK!   These are people whose actions have contributed in a unique and noteworthy way to the political and social discourse gripping our country!

House Democrats for allowing House Ways & Means Committe Chairman, Charlie Rangel to hold his position of leadership while the investigation into his finances is expanded...again!

Supreme Court Justice Scalia who graciously offered to represent the sacrifice of Jewish and Muslim soldiers killed in WWI with a Christian symbol because...the cross can represent ALL men regardless of thier personal religious preferences.   To make this even better, he made this observation the day after he defended the rights of people who like dog fighting & cock fighting.

Florida Republican Congressional Candidate Robert Lowery who took time at a GOP meeting held at a gun range to shoot at a target with the initials of his incumbent opponet, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Missouri Congressman Ike Skelton (D) for suggesting that a fellow Missourian from the other side of the aisle should "stick" his arguments somewhere inappropriate!

RNC Chairman Micheal Steele for his Kanye West-like reaction to news that President Obama had been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.   Regardless of whether you like the President or not, regardless of whether you think he deserved the award or not, you can at least be gracious about the fact that an AMERICAN won the award!   Some moments in time are meant to be American and not partisan!

Rick Berman's  DEFEAT THE DEBT grass roots crusade placed dozens of committed tea party activists on the streets of Washington dressed as Uncle Sam to protest the mounting national debt.

Excuse me....that's Rick Berman's  DEFEAT THE DEBT campaign that paid out-of-work actors $30/hour to impersonate grass roots protestors!

Great idea! Thanks!

Good wrap up. Scalia claims to love his country, he just hates his country men and women, that's all.

Unless I am wrong about the timing, you left out the republicans cheering en masse at the American loss of the Olympics.

That Scalia is nothing but a weasel. He is a poor excuse for a tin-pot judge, nevermind a Supreme. We currently have the worst court in my memory. Hopefully Obama will get 3 or 4 more chances.
