The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports today that 16,000 Republicans crossed over in Cuyahoga County to vote in the Democratic primary to vote, and although the law is they are to become Democrats to do so many wrote on their forms stuff like "for one day" and "I don’t believe in abortion".  It sounds like the scam was in.
