]]>If a voter uses the mail, it had to be mailed by Friday, but many Oregonians, especially in urban areas, still wait 'til the last minute, then drop off their ballot. All those ballots have to be opened and verified before they're put into the computer.
In small population rural areas things go quickly. Urban areas, not so much.

]]>That this hoax came out of Pennsylvania. That it was constructed to take advantage of the alleged racism that white Pennsylvania voter have. And the link, at the very least, to Young Republicans suggests that it goes way deeper than some "disturbed" woman acting alone.

]]>Al-Qaeda is SAYING they want John McCain, because they REALLY want Obama (probably because he's a secret Muslim terrorist).
It kind of goes without saying that al-Qaeda and/or Bin Laden would have something to say about the election and it goes without saying no matter what it is (the quasi-endorsement of Kerry in 2004 or today's "McCain is just like Bush" endorsement) will be spun as proof that we have to vote for McCain and the neo-con agenda.
And sadly, it will probably work.
