Or, 'God' isn't a concept at all, but a transcendental reality to which we must surrender absolutely...suffer the little children to come unto me...
Hey, god makes high school football teams win (or lose), makes it snow for those who pray to be able to ski, and all that stuff. Too bad he gets so busy doing that shit that he lets people starve, get murdered, die by getting hit by drunk drivers, etc...oh, and incompetent, ruinous administrations take over the United States of America. But hey, the dude is really busy with that other stuff.
That's right! And he also "unifies people and companies to get [$30 billion natural gas pipeline projects] built."

We can turn this thread into a discussion about John Lennon’s agnosticism or we can focus on Sarah Palin’s conflating of the election of John McCain with God’s will.
We can delve into the metaphysics of a supreme being or we can discuss Ms Palin’s appeal to right-wing, racist theocrats.
Ms Palin is a strange attractor. Whether deliberate or reflexive, she cannot seem to help rationalizing her behavior and the behavior of the zealots she attracts to a God I, for one, don’t remember hearing about in the Sunday School I attended.
God is in the details, and so, there also resides the devil.
Somebody famous once said: “trust in Allah, but tie up your camel.” The GOP have quite clearly lost their camel.
Somebody else famous said: “Blessed are the Peace Makers.” Sarah Palin needs to spend more time contemplating the Book of Matthew.
What I'm wondering is whether or not Palin will be able to accept that Obama's election was God's will...won't that be a bitter pill to swallow?
Someone also said . . . not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, ...headstrong, puffed up [with pride],... 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.
(2 Timothy 3:3-5)
Does Sarah display these qualities?
If Palin wants to measure up, she should read up, and apply the principles at least
In the midst of the words he was trying to say
In the midst of his laughter and glee.
He softly and suddenly vanished away
for the Snark was a Boojum... you see
