Thanks. That helps explain amounts of about $30k in the 2006 and 2005 990s classified as unreimbursed NASA expenses. In the 2005 990, Nozzette included a statement about how his records were incomplete and he wasn't sure how much money he had been paid but that he had professionals working on the issue.

Revenue in the ACT 990s is broken out between direct contributions and revenue from government programs. Most of the revenue of approximately $250k to $500k is on the government program line.

If the contributions came from the Israeli company for consulting services, both the company and Nozzette were in violation of the tax laws. In fact, the non-profit setup looks like a sham.

In the criminal complaint, there is a statement made by Nozzette to the supposed Mossad agent to the effect that he thought the company he was working for was a front for the Israeli government and that he was already working for the Israelis.

Looks like the Feds thought Nozzette was giving the Israeli company classified info and that triggered the initial investigation.

From his non-profit, Alliance for Competetive Technology, 2006 990:

operated by Stewart D. Nozette (SSAN 335-40-7887. Dr.
Nozette and the company are the subjects of an ongoing

According to the 2007 990, ACT spent $185k on legal expenses and had $75k in credit card debt.

It looks like Nozzette really needed money.

Christie arranged for his old boss John Ashcroft and the Ashcroft Group to monitor Zimmer for $750k a month. The fees are expected to total between $28 and $52 million.

Can it get more corrupt?

Buyer told the Indy Star that 28 or 32 peope attended his golf tournaments. Why were contributions in 2008 only $100k when two tournaments were held compared to $240k in 2007 when only one tournament was held?

The Frontier Foundation is supposed to report gross receipts from special events less the cost of the event to arrive at net contrbutions from special events on the 990.

The foundation doesn't include any costs related to the golf tournaments which should be substantial given the that they were held at luxury resorts.

Somebody ought to ask Buyer for the brochure or letter with the details of the fundraiser that was sent to participants. I wonder how many people participated in the tournament and if Buyer brought his family to these events.

I'm pretty cynical so I think there's a possibility that Buyer didn't hold a golf tournament in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

The name of the foundation is the Virginia Sheldon Jerome Foundation (EIN 68-0517990) which, according to its 990s, raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by sponsoring an annual golf tournament.

So Steve Buyer's foundation raised money from Eli Lilly by sponsoring golf tournaments and then Buyer spent at least some of the money to play gold in an Eli Lilly lobbyist's charity golf tournaments.

I wonder if his other contributions like the one to the NRA were spent on golf tournaments.

Looks to me like the purpose of the Frontier Foundation was to fund Steve Buyer's golf jones.

My understanding that is that CAIR changed its tax status from 501(c)(4) to 501(c)(3) subsequent to 2006. The 501(c)(3) status allows contributors to CAIR to deduct contributions on their income taxes.

The change in status comes with restrictions on the amount of money that can be spent on certain activities such as lobbying.

Myrick takes her talking points from the most radical, far right wing extremists in the country, most of whom have a vested financial interest in promoting an anti-Islamist agenda.

Chris and David Gaubatz are (or were) on the payroll of SANE, founded by David Yerushalmi who promotes an anti-Islamist agenda so radical even Daniel Pipes has distanced himself from him.

On the SANE website, Yerushalmi defines Islam as "Shari'a-faithful Islam" and then proposes that anyone who practices Islam in the US should be imprisoned for twenty years.

According to Myrick's 2007 personal financial disclosure, the David Horowitz Freedom Center paid her expenses for a trip to Palm Beach. Enough said.

One hand washes the other with Myrick. In 2007, she was interviewed for a flattering Investor's Business Daily article by Paul Sperry, the co-author of "Muslim Mafia". Myrick reciprocated by writing the foreword to the book.

(Sperry worked for IBD for 12 years prior to becoming Washington bureau chief for World Net Daily in 2002.)

For fun, someone ought to ask Myrick to explain how this proposal included in her Wake Up Agenda will work:

Shariah Finance Transparency: We will work to help draft transparency and disclosure legislation regarding "Shariah Financing" to ensure Islamists are not using Zakat to finance terrorist groups, as well as spread their radical ideology.

Bet she can't do it. Bet she can't explain exactly what Sharia financing is.

Thank goodness this woman is not actually on any committes that have anything to do with intelligence.

The three points she does manage to list are not legislative matters:

(1) Have the Pentagon do a background check on Muslim chaplains in the military who were approved for hire by Abdurahman Alamoudi years ago.

(2) Find out why the DOJ did not hire 90 Jews as Arabic translators in 2001.

(3) Investigate CAIR's tax-exempt status because the "ruler" of Dubai's foundation has pledged $50 million to CAIR.

Myrick's claim to be a terrorism expert is based on her reading twelve (!) books on terrorism, one by World Net Daily terrorism expert, Paul Sperry. Plus she has met 50 raving wingnuts who have a vested financial interest in ginning up the terrorism expert.

Peter Leitner is treasurer of the National Republican Trust PAC which was one of the first organizations to question Obama's citizenship during last year's campaign. The NRT sponsored the most offensive ads of the campaign including one that featured Obama's photo juxtaposed with Mohammed Atta's.

Leitner is a member of the military advisory committee of Frank Gaffney's Center For Security Policy. He also is a founder of the Citizens For National Security which puts on seminars in Boca Raton, teaching ordinary citizens how to identify a terrorist. (Just what we need - the oldsters in Boca rooting out terrorism.)

Advisors to CNS include Daniel Pipes of the Middle East Forum and Walid Phares of the Foundation For the Defense of Democracies.

Scott Wheeler, executive director of the National Republican Trust PAC, is an "investigative reporter" who worked for the Rev. Moon's Insight magazine which has a content-sharing agreement with World Net Daily. Wheeler is best known for promoting Clinton conspiracy theories including the Vince Foster "murder" and the Mena "coverup".

David Yerushalmi, of course, is the founder and president of SANE and legal counsel for Gaffney's Center For Natonal Security. He is also chairman of the Institute for Advanced Strategic & Political Studies and is its legal advisor.

The Endowment For Middle East Truth advisors include Frank Gaffney, Daniel Pipes and James Woolsey.

The EMET, in collaboration with Aish Hatorah and the Clarion Fund, financed the distribution of more than 28 million copies of the anti-Muslim video, "Obsession" during last year's campaign.

During the summer of 2008, EMET organized a seminar series on Capital Hill in collaboration with American billionaire Sheldon Adelson, the right-leaning Freedom's Watch advocacy group and the Republican Jewish Coalition.

The defendants were served with the complaint and summons to appear while attending the CAIR 14th Annual Dinner Sunday night in Arlington, Virginia. Congressman Ellison (D-Minn) was a guest speaker at this affair.

... "The evidence has long suggested that CAIR is a criminal organization set up by the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas to further its aims of stealth Jihad in the U.S.," Mr. Yerushalmi said referring to the fact that CAIR has been named by the federal government as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror financing trial.

"But our investigation and this complaint make clear that CAIR's criminal activities know no bounds," Yerushalmi continued.

The SANE website is now paid subscription access only and for good reason. Gaubatz and Yerushalmi doesn't want the masses to find out what their real agenda is now that they have a shot at attracting a mainstream audience.

But there is enough evidence left on the internet to get an understanding about how corrupt the beliefs held by Yerushalmi and Gaubatz are.

From an essay written by David Yerushalmi and Col. Tom Snodgrass published on the Intellectual Conservative website in August 2007:

The Congress of the United States of America shall declare the US at war with the Muslim Nation.

Do Myrick, Shadegg, Broun, and Franks really want to be associated with the hate-mongering and racism promoted by David Gaubatz and David Yerushalmi?

Perhaps Rep. Myrick can convince Gaubatz and Yerushalmi to open up the SANE archives so we can gain a better understanding of SANE's philosophy?

For that matter, let's get the Gaubatzes on record as having unequivocal support for the organization that funded their little project.
