Stop Them Now Before It's Too Late
In a previous blog posted here, I expressed concern over the Bush-Cheney team's covert plan to involve Iran in a military confrontation. As support for this administration evaporates, it moves ahead relentlessly toward a confrontation with Iran at full-throttle speed like a runaway train while Congress wallows in the mud of corruption and debates our presence in Iraq.
While Congress has been playing political games, this president has been quietly building up the U.S. military's air power in Iraq, claiming it's all part of the latest "surge. But he's also sent an unusual number of navy battleships to the Middle East with a mission to:
...provide "power to counter the assertive, disruptive and coercive behavior of some countries, as well as support for our soldiers and marines in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Congress needs a wake up call from "We the People." Go to "Seeking Redress En Masse and see how we can fire up Congress to quit covering their politically correct butts and screw up the courage to stop this administration from further destruction -- before it's too late.

Morgan,
I hope the American people have a chance to "fire up" Congress. Now that a few Republicans are beginning to turn on these monsters there is a slight possibility but I have my doubts.
The "Patriot" Act was put in place by this administration in order to declare martial law and hold power. I truly believe that is their next step. "They" will attempt to stop the '08 election. I hope I'm wrong. And I hope the American people are able to stand against "them!"
We will soon see if I've been wrong all along about just how evil these people are. If "they" don't conveniently have a "terrorist event" which allows them to declare martial law, I will be VERY surprised. If this doesn't turn into an issue which will require great courage and strength from our Congress and "We The People," I will be VERY surprised.
I've said it before... I hope I'm wrong! But every fiber of my being has and does tell me that these people have no limit to the evil "they" will allow in order to hold power.

I share your concerns as well as your hopes of being wrong. All the more reason we need to get fired up. The Constitution Day Redress is a way for us to make our voices heard from the comfort -- and security -- of our homes.
But if Bush declares Marshall Law or tries to interfere with the '08 election, I predict there will be people in the streets -- of all ages -- participating in protests that will more resemble the 1968 antiwar demonstrations in Chicago than Woodstock. Now that The White House Manual is out, you can bet this generation of activists are already writing their own strategies for getting in front of Bush. And they will succeed.
When our congressional leadership sees our COURAGE and STRENGTH, those with any amount of integrity of sense of duty will find theirs, too.
Believe it.

Ain't America GREAT>?!?!?
I've always told my kids our system of government is the worst on earth.... Except for all the rest!
What an incredible document our constitution is. What an incredible system our forefathers set up.
What an incredibly arrogant and incompetent administration this is.
We WILL survive!
