I don't know if this is true since Sully said it, but apparently DFA was forbidden by the White House to say anything about the gay marriage issue. I don't know if it's close enough to wonder if that would have swayed people or not.

I kind of feel for this guy. If I were running I know I'd care more about the big ticket issues like Single-Payer, Climate Change, and Foreign Policy/Defense than the local stuff.

But I'm smart enough to NOT RUN because of it.

Corzine is not liked, but Christie was running almost exclusively on his anti-corruption straight shooter appeal. Once he lost THAT there was no real reason to like him except Corzine hate and the third party guy and Christie's republican status keep that in check.
