Obama gets NO Honeymoon
Ever determined to show that they are NOT in the tank for Obama and doing everything they can to avoid being called "Butt Boy" by Rush, the MSM & AP have given Obama a full 50 days to turn around the worst global economy that the world has ever witnessed. Notice the snarky position of "the administration likes to say it is not their fault". No need to point out to readers that is a TRUE STATEMENT, right? Meanwhile, long-time DC beltway insiders apparently believe that every prez gets their "DOW industrials" index test because polling is not a true indicator, but somehow the stock market. Narrow thinkers like Chris Matthews cannot seem to understand that these are different times and you cannot apply the same formula to a global recession started by the previous admin. Kudos to Obama and his admin for not knee-jerk reacting to wealthy Wall Streeters crying about their precious stock market and bailouts for home owners.

Good post, Mediamatters is one of my favorite.
I am listening to Chris right now.
My President has a 72% approval rating. That tells me 72% of the American People do not care what the 'Media' thinks.

The on screen media is made up of over compensated prima donnas who made their living cynically snarking on every issue, evading their responsibilities to report on everything from Iraq and the economic bubble. Now, their pampered lifestyle is threatened and all they do is whine 24/7. Real people have been confronting the declining middle class lifestyle for years!

Never trust a corporately owned media to honestly report on the dealings of corporations, themselves included, and the economy. It is on its face, and obviously, a conflict of interest.

There's no such thing as a sudden heart attack. It requires years of cable news.

Just listen to that tool John King whine about earmarks and pork for an hour. That is our number one problem? Really? Do you ever hear any of them talk about the positive things we could do on healthcare and energy. The only good thing about it is they are so relentlessly negative that I think people are just tuning them out.

I started screaming at the TV at first, he was just relentless in questioning, would not let go, if he had been one tenth as hard on questioning Bush, we probably would not be in this mess. Nevertheless, to keep my sanity I took your advice & turned it off. They will never change, we can only hope people will stay with Obama & give his new ideas the chance they deserve. We can only hope, but it is beyond frustrating!

I could handle the relentless questioning if it was about something that mattered. Let them be relentless when it comes to the collapsing financial industry or automobile industry or in bringing clarity to healthcare but earmarks?!! That's purely right-wing spin. When they do that they are just flacking for Rush. Rush is more entertaining.

Chris Matthews has become insufferable (as has Lou Dobbs, BTW). At time, the man seems positively schizophrenic, semi-rational one night, full of irrational righteous indignation the next. I've stopped watching Hardball. Keith and Rachael have the only sane programs remaining on all of cable news.
