Drudge: This is DESPICABLE (UPDATE)

In the past couple of years as the progressive Netroots have taken hold, Drudge's right-wing dribble finally has competition. So now is our time.
We CANNOT allow Drudge to shovel this kind of filth. This is an obvious made up story, just like the AP claiming the week that polls with 45% Evangelical Born Again Christians showing Obama by 1 point is a valid sampling. Of course, since Drudge spends all day like a bottom-feeder looking for stories to push his agenda, he headlines that as a SHOCK.
Well, he is STILL pushing this story. Yesterday, it was a SHOCK. And it was DEVELOPING.
He has so become deluded from his decreasing influence that he is now pushing stories like this one where this woman from the famed Jack Abramoff College Republicans claims to that a big mean guy carved a B in her cheek even though it is backwards as if done from a mirror! And there is no police corraboration.
No problem, though. According to Drudge, this is SHOCKING. And, surprise, surprise, guess who picked it up last night? Yup, FoxNews!! http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/23/mccain-volunteer-says-mugged-b-carved-face/
The time has come to put Drudge to rest as yesterday's news in the heaping pile of refuse from the right-wing-nuts of AM radio and hateful web sites pushing their narrow agendas.

She made it up! What a surprise ... NOW is time for Drudge to fess-up to creating mass hysteria to bolster his waning influence in U.S. political right-wing news coverage. He created this mess and now OWNS IT.

HuffPo had a good posting on this today, too. Even if this story were 100% accurate, it is incendiary to include statements such as "McCain volunteer" to a story of someone getting mugged!
Good grief. Any crime committed against a political volunteer is now a political crime!
Drudge's influence is clearly waning and he is going off the deep end!

Note that the "B" on her face is backward as if written in a mirror. The superficiality of the incision and the neatness of the calligraphy suggests something more subtle than a street thug's knife.
Not that forensic evidence (science) is likely to sway anyone who wants to believe here ever changing story of what happened.

Not only is that an old scar (or just an abrasion), but it is indeed backwards. Perhaps her attacker was standing behind her and using her rearview mirror for guidance as he made his brand.

It seems awfully odd to me that the victim "knew" that the reason she was attacked was because of the McCain sticker on her car. Did the attacker say to her: "Damn that McCain sticker! Just for that, I'm gonna carve a 'B' in your face!"

And why did the assailant not put an "O" on the other cheek?
PS - I'm fien with railing against Drudge and FOX. Trotting this out like it has merit is really disturbing. Maybe they can get help too. They live in a delusional world, afterall.
