Hailing Chuck Keller about "Last Recording"


Chuck:
Wanted to share with you ... our family sat around the table this morning and grandad found your poem "Last Recording" in your collection Against the Wind. He's a WWII vet of the Army Air Corps and Operation Torch who is afraid of riding in airplanes. He was laughing loud as he read "Last Recording," and the rest of us did too. Great observations in that poem considering leadership in general these days, and what a wry way of zinging the target.

Financial Terrorism or Financial Espionage? Short Selling


Apparently, by September 19, 2008, those in the know say it wasn't US hedge funds "piling on" financial stocks with short selling, but overseas investors.
It seems a large amount of it was coming from London and Dubai?

So to Seashell and others who doubted, let's wait and see what turns up.

Financial 9-11? Lehman's CEO: Short selling targeted US Financials


Consider: Richard Fuld's analysis that short sellers targeted US financial firms and drove the prices down, causing a chain reaction of down-rated credit and a cascade of sensational rumor mongering during the election season. Almost seems like the perfect storm. Any evidence that the short selling was an orchestrated trigger for September 2008, seven years later? A financial 9-11 so to speak?
