Pride movements rot the cultural fabric on which they feed. They are self-destructive and have led no group to freedom or a better life. Humility, faith and boldness in the face of persecution, as was bravely exemplified in the civil rights movement that merely told the truth about the values of Jesus Christ in a segregated, prejudiced society was not a pride movement whatever anyone said. It was a movement of the soul, of faith and spiritual power. 

The Creator's Syndicate columnist, L. Brent Bozell assailed the Gay Pride promotional poster and Miller Beer's logo attached to it because the San Francisco event poster mocked Jesus Christ and the Lord's Supper in a way that would attract many an assassin from the ranks of militant Islam had Islamic figures been equally mocked.

This fact suggests that the mockery of Jesus Christ is because the mockers could. In the US, centurions exist to arrest or shoot those who would retaliate against blasphemers of holy persons, histories and phenomena. Also, the promoters knew that the Christian faith is bound by self-restraint and non-retaliation. It was so when Christ was mocked as He carried our cross to Golgotha for all.
