You call this transparency?

In September, the Administration apparently "changed course" (again), this time deciding that it WOULD reveal the names of White House visitors, except for a "small group" that in doing so would have national security concerns.

Of course, after the initial campaign promise of real transparency, the Administration in June decided it WASN'T a good idea - (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31373407/ns/politics-white_house/)

So now after we got all excited in September that we would actually be getting what was promised, the list revealed by the White House yesterday only had 110 names on it ?!?!?

Nothing has changed in Washington.

Good grief, why not go look at the actual logs before you jump all over this. I sense a mole hill to mountain moment.

Because he'd rather agitate from a position of ignorance. That's now No Class Bill rolls, don'cha know?

Right, because none of the major news agencies have expressed a similar disappointment with the Administration, just me.

Not just ignorant, I see, but proud of it.

You really are pathetic.

Could you explain why you think I am being ignorant?

You are not ignorant Bill Ferrin, you are a troll that brings nothing but misery to those who encounter your special brand of bile.

Thanks for the clarification to a post from two weeks ago. Have we met before? Have a nice day.

I have read it and I don't consider posting a couple hundred names as living up to their promises when hundreds of thousands have visited the White House.

This is not something that only I am "jumping all over". MSNBC, NPR and other news outlets have also expressed their dismay.

Requests have been made to disclose the full list but the White House has said no.

Clearly you are ignorant because you dare to question the great one! All Hail Obama!! Ein Volk! Ein Reich! Ein Fuhrer!

You want the names of all the tourists?

There are only so many hours in a day -- all I'm interested in are the people who got to schmooze with the President and his staff!

user-pic

I'd like to get a more complete list than just 115 names. I agree with you I want to see the schmoozers more than the "tourists", but we didn't get a full list of those people either.
