Are the bleeding heart liberals actually DOING anything?

There are so many angry people on this blog who are pissed at a lot of things.  They spend a lot of time "blogging" but are they actually spending time DOING anything?  Maybe volunteering at a food bank? Or writing letters to congress?

Just thought I would ask.  I hope people aren't wasting all their energy just typing and yelling at me.

Why is everyone mad at AIG? It's Congress' fault

I've read a lot of blogs on here that people are very upset at AIG.  And they should be.

But the overwhelming majority of the blogs SHOULD be directed at Congress but I don't seem to see that being the case.

Congress is the one that drafted a stimulus bill which says that as long as bonus payments are pursuant to a written contract entered into on or before 2/11/09, then it's OK to pay the bonus.

Where's the outrage at Congress?  They SPECIFICALLY CARVED OUT these types of bonuses.

Josh is on a witch hunt

I realize that Josh is just posting an article from Portfolio.  He is offering no opinion of his own (probably because he's too scared to).

But Josh offers no evidence of wrong doing by Chase.  For some reason he likes to add no value but just post articles from other sources.

Chase did nothing wrong.  For Madoff to have parked large sums of cash wouldn't be unusual for a firm that claimed to have tens of billions in assets under management.  Many hedge funds spent 2008 with a large portion of their funds sitting in cash due to all the market uncertainty.

Josh should try harder to come up with his own evidence rather than just pass on gossip columns.
