My click on "Recommend" was a mistake, I though if I clicked on it I would get to see who was stupid enough to recommend it, like happens with some other blog software.
Now I look as stupid as the recommender, and almost as stupid as you.
It's not Muslim hatred. It's "This woman's hatred". Let' not generalized based on one or a few person.
If we're playing the youtube game, there are hundreds of videos of IDF shooting at civilians, children, and unarmed men.
The governments of each side is at fault. When you start blaming the people -- Palestinians, Israelis -- you become what you were during the primaries: A useless, waste-of-air racist.
Here is what Middle Class Bill isn't telling you, although he probably just accidentally left out all of this context:
Taunts, jeers, vulgar gestures and curses filled the air Sunday afternoon as supporters of both sides in the Gaza conflict waged dueling protests outside the Israeli consulate in downtown Miami. [SunSentinel.com]
The chants from supporters of Israel: "No mas, Hamas" and "There is no Palestine."
From the supporters of the Palestinians: "Re-free Palestine" and "Occupation is a crime."
From the pro-Israeli side: "Bomb, bomb Palestine!" and, from a few people, "Go back to Israel so we can shoot you!"
The protest took place after a rally was held by the supporters of Israel in Miami Beach earlier the same day.
And, of course, there were protests and rallys all over the world this last weekend, some of them violent.
Showing a one-sided YouTube video without any context information is dishonest, and makes me wonder about MCBs motivation in posting it.
I think references to a holocaust are a lot worse than shouts from the Israeli side to "Bomb palestine and go back to israel so we can shoot you". I also found it disturbing because it was happening in Florida and not someplace overseas.
Demosaur - I am blaming the people. The government did not force any of these people to shout these hateful comments. It's not just the faults of the governments
"If I was an Arab leader I would never make peace with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country." David Ben Gurion
The hate is a symptom of years of oppression. There are youtube videos of Jews saying they'll turn Gaza into a concentration camp -- why not go hunt down one of those? All you're doing here is trying to stir up reactionary hate.
