Latest IBD/TIPP poll - 63% of Americans surveyed are against an auto bailout.   The majority of Democrats, Republicans, Midwesterners, non-investors, etc.  all are against an auto bailout

If Congress is supposed to represent its citizens, then maybe the Auto Bailout should have been voted down.  Most Americans are against it.

Does Congress really care about fixing the auto companies' profitability or is this just a way for them to dictate the auto companies making "green" cars?
