Listen, the rich just soaked us for their fuck ups on Wall St. I could give a shit less if they have to dig a bit deeper. Class warfare? Yep. I'm OK with that.
Also, Sen. Obama is not "disguising that he's also proposing one of the largest tax increases ever on the other 5%." It's a central part of the plan. I'm happy with that. It's time for all the Gordon Gekkos to pony up.
Greed is not good.

Is this Edwards' Class Warfare model?

Ace - if you wanted the Gordon Gekkos to pony up then maybe he would be creating some higher tax brackets for people making over $1mm, over $5mm, etc. But he's treating the guy who makes $300k and the one who makes $3mm exactly the same.
Is that fair?

Yeah, it's fair. Learn a little math, OK? Your taxes are calculated on a percentage of your income. If you make $300,000, you're gonna pay less than someone who makes $3 million. And why do you care? Why are you Republicans always defending the people who make billions off of your stupidity and sheep-like obeisance? Is this some form of the Stockholm Syndrome?
We've all had eight years to witness the effects of unregulated free market capitalism and Ronald Reagan's idiotic trickle-down economics. It's dead. George W. Bush just bought America's banks and turned America into a socialist country.
