We should all be very grateful that Barack Obama has been able to rig his previous political elections.  If he wasn't so slimy he'd never be in this position to be our next President.
In 2004, Obama wins the US Senate race by getting his opponent's divorce records made public and causes Jack Ryan to step down.  Obama easily beats Alan Keyes who replaced Jack Ryan.

And of course before that, in the primary, Blair Hull was leading in the polls over Obama until "someone" mysteriously leaked sealed court documents to the press regarding his divorce.
And let's not forget that he eliminated some of his opponents by invalidating their petitions.  People "signed" their names instead of "printing".
