I liked the NyTimes possibly punny headline "Rising Pressure From G.O.P. Led Senator to Quit."
it certainly was all about rising pressure, for sure!
Isn't it great when there's some honesty in the headlines?

Despite myself, I had to laugh. It would have been better if the headline was something like,
"Rising Pressure From G.O.P. Led Senator to Quit His Seat (the Congressional one)."
