obama has no clue how to rule the country. when will he sign another stimulus package that actually helps the americans?? he said he would but he hasnt already. i suggest he resign and let biden run the country for a while. the blacks were so overjoyed by obama but he is only 1 quarter black. he is just like oj. all he needs now is a white wife. he thinks theres 67 states. his diploma from columbia is fake. when will he RESIGN???????????

Actually, Obama is white. Why not? If exactly 50 per cent can mean he's black, then 50 per cent can mean he's white.

Genetically he is exactly half white and half black. I am referring to -- and challenging -- the racist tradition that a white person with a single drop of black blood is as result black. That was the reality even if one could "pass".
They would hold, of course, that exactly half of each makes one black -- and thus deprives one of all the benefits of being white. That makes no sense to a non-racist, so he is as easily called -- and seen as -- white as called black.
I'm simply being objective and fair about it. And challenging that racist view. Have a problem with Obama because he's black? Then view him as white and the problem disappears.

But it's not their choice, nor is it yours. Obama has chosen his own identity. He has lived his life in his black skin. His white blood tells us nothing. His black skin, his curly hair, his facial features suggest to us the life he has led. What I'm suggesting is that you can't know. You can't make that argument for him (or for anyone). You can only try to put yourself in his shoes. And you must accept that he knows what it's like to be treated differently because of the color of his skin. He's not white. He may be half white, but what's in his bloodstream doesn't matter. Racism is, as a said before, a visual thing. It's about people thinking they can know something about a person because of the way they look.

so, your profile states that youre a conservative independent that identifies as republican in asia? wow. how you republicans doin over there? these guys need help in america, so maybe you can lend em a hand. one thing is that over here our president doesnt "rule" our country like u said. i can see how you may have thought that from the last guy, but really you can look it up im not lying about that. so maybe tell your republican friends here in the US what you found out, and that may help a little. theyll be finding out on their own in a little while, as a bunch of em will probably go to jail for not knowing that (over here ignorance of the law is no excuse either.) but it might be nice if they know whats coming and why, and can pick out a decent toothbrush and pair of flip-flops before they go. oh yeah, if any of your republican friends over here are bankers, you might want to tell them they dont actually "rule" either -- as they are also about to find out.

Most intelligent people know that "pork" doesn't grow an economy. They also know that if you stand in a bucket and pull up on the handle, you can't lift yourself up. The bottom line is most "intelligent" people know that you cannot tax a country into prosperity.
Have a look at the news around you and you'll see what I mean.
The basis for prosperity is "growth". Hinder growth by taxation and you cannot prosper.

And, yes: tax increases can result in market movement, which is what is lacking. Increasing taxes does not by itself necessarily hinder growth; it provides gov't with funds with which to by goods, which is what is currently lacking.

When you tax large income producers, you hinder their ability to hire employees. These employees pay taxes on their income. If the larger income producers are given tax breaks then they can hire more people with the money they saved. The money they saved was re-paid in "salaries" that produce their own tax revenue. More workers = more tax money. It's simple economics.
