Have you ever marvelled at how these embittered curmudgeons spew incomprehensible hostility and seem satisfied in believing think they've said something sensible and useful?

Here's a typical such misanthrope, wriging on Politico:

 "How ridiculous our "government" is becoming. All of the scandals and tripe coming from DC isn't enough so more "nutcases" need to be elected? Good Lord. Dodd, Frank, Stevens, Pelosi, Reid, Paulson, etc. The new dingbat squad is lining up to improve the image of Congress? Sure, Al Franken(stein), Chris Matthews, "The Nanny", wrestlers, actors, Chicago politicians... sounds more like a freakin' bad sitcom or reality show. Can't wait to see Gov. Rod appoint himself to Obama's senate seat. Any day now, I expect to hear Pee Wee Herman is running for a Congressional spot. All of the lives that have been sacrificed for our country and we don't care enough to see it shown respect and insist on some standards."

It's plain raving.  And so common amongst the right, eh?   Oh, and peaking of maintaining stanards, oh why, oh why, did the spiteful list omit the Distinguished Governor of our 49th State?
