Obama on Leno (Video)

I love the analogy he makes about the toaster. It shows his remarkable skill to cut to the heart of the complex problems and yet is able to convey this information in a way that is accessible to Jay's broad audience.

UPDATE

Here is the transcript for the interview courtesy of the NYT:

President Barack Obama on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Thanks for posting this. It was a lot longer than I expected and Obama was able to cover a lot of ground. Great interview!

I missed this Mage. Good post. Yes, our New President is superb at any appearance he makes. Special Olympics was a gaffe. But on the whole, pretty good.

Thanks DD, yeah it fell off pretty quick. Must have been a busy posting day. :)

I missed it too!! Yes, it did seem to be busy yesterday. Quieter today, it would seem. :)

I do best reading (due to hearing problems) - but six pages of transcript and only one small phrase with a glitch in it. And so much ink spilled and tv time spent over one sentence out of a 6 page transcript! This is what we've come to!
