The ballot was a wonderful piece of overcompensation for prior mishaps - filled in with a pen (one connects the dots beside the appropriate candidates) and measuring approximately 11"x14", appropriately sized for the eyes and hands of pre-schoolers. At the end of the process, it was fed into a hungry tabulator, eager to count our little black lines.

Floridians have our own version of Prop 8 - it's called Prop 2. It will be interesting to see how this state compares to California in that regard.
