I admit I am attracted the the Sara Palin stories, especially now that she is no longer "a heartbeat away from the presidency." As Barack said, she has a compelling story. I don't expect her to ever make it into the White House, unless someone chooses her again for the VP slot nomination, which ain't likely.

This morning the first hour felt like about 3 hours, then the next 2 hours felt like about 2 and 1/2 hours, and the next hour seemed about normal while I made up the bed and did the dishes. So that's about 6 hours unreal time and 4 hours normal so far.

Fired up and ready to vote! Let's all get out there and get out the vote. I'm going to take my 13 month old grandson with me to hold up a sign at the local high school voting location in Vermont. I don't know how long that will last. It's what I can do, and cover for my husband around the house so he can canvas in New Hampshire.

John McCain's ridiculous "Barack the redistributor" attacks yesterday over that 2001 interview Barack Obama gave in which he allegedly called for the mass transfer of wealth from hard-working Americans to lazy poor people.

This whole episode has been taken out of context and reduced to a series of sound bites for the McCain campaign. No average Joe is going to go back to the original radio airing of this discussion and try to understand what Obama was saying. Just another gimmick from John McFuddle to call Obama a Socialist.
