After Obama Clinches Nomination, Hillary Decides Not To Concede.

There! That's more like it.

That headline would be way more accurate.

Please don't fool yourself into thinking tha Hillary didn't make any decisions tonight.

She made a decision, allright!

I just can't picture her "not making decisions tonight" had Edwards clinched the nomination... Can you?

So, what is prompting her to do this? Is it Obama's lack of "experience" that entitles her to ignore the voice of the voters she so much "values" and "champions." Anyone cares to venture a response?

What a disgrace!

On this Historic night Hillary decides not to jump in the train; she rather continue her attempts at derailing it...

Shameful.

She insists on proving my point.

As desperation kicks butt big time, Hillary is unveiling her real self. And it is ugly, very ugly. She shows herself once and again as someone who goes against the grain of my values.

A few months back, I realized that it would be extremely difficult (impossible?) for me to vote Hillary in the GE if she won the nomination by "stealing" it.

The longer she stays in this race for the nomination, the more she shows her deep uglyness. Not because she has long run her course, but because of the strategies she is willing to use to hold on.

And holding on she is... Now that it is clear (even to the Media!!) that she could grab the nomination only by stealing it, she keeps trying.

Is it just me or do others understand why I could never vote for her? And that I don't want her in the ticket?

(PS: I could never vote for McCain either. If she was to steal the nomination I would be left with what choices? This Two(All-Powerful)-Party System sucks, doesn't it? Yeah!! Long Live Capitalism!!)

(PS2: In reference to the Supreme Court and the Iraq War, I have no reason whatsoever to believe that Hillary would do what is right.)

Pushing the gas tax "relief" or nothing else to lose.

Hillary sure is pushing hard the gas tax "relief" issue in Indiana, North Carolina, Congress... But why?

This tax "relief" may well sound convincing to the low information voter, but not to the informed Superdelegate. What is the reason that she is willing to annoy them Supers to death (that is, her own death) with this issue?

It seems to me that up until now she has been courting the Supers heavily; they were her only path to the nomination, as math clearly indicated.

I can only think that at this point, enough Supers have declared their commitments -even if behind doors- and she has become painfully aware that the Supers are no longer a viable path.

The only thing left is to go back to the math and wait for a miracle (Huckabee comes to mind here...) She has to win more delegates than Obama. Could she turn things around? Maybe, and most likely not. She would have to win the remainder States by much.

What are the chances of that happening? I have no clue. But if there was a 1% chance, she may be willing and ready to hold the fort until there is a 0% chance. In the meanwhile, what would help best than to promise anything to voters?

I just cannot understand (somebody help me, please!) why would she alienate the Supers at this point if she still needs them?

(Of course I am assuming that the vast majority of Supers can see through her gas "relief" pandering and do not appreciate her attempt to pin Democrats in Congress to the wall with her "Are you with me or with the Oil Companies?" bull. Am I mistaken here?)

Beyond codependency yet?

You know... I understand the psychological value of $14.99 prices over $15 and the important difference between single digits and double digits...

But really, if we are arguing about this is because we have already bought into Hillary's spin and fake reality.

Her PA win, no matter how big, has done nothing to help her. She is still behind and she still can't close the deal.

She spins because pulling the wool over our eyes is the only thing she has left AND because she has an audience. But we don't need to support her bad habits. Or do we?

What do you'll think? Is it time yet to stop listening to Hillary and remember, when she attempts to paint reality for us, how every Primary contest confirms that she can't close the deal?

I rather concentrate in the big prize: The Presidency. I liked how Obama contrasted himself to McCain in his speech last night, instead of giving his attention to Hillary.

Rather than arguing about decimals or anything else Hillary would have as spinning around, I'd just keep reminding everyone and myself that Obama is the unreachable front runner...

I can't wait

Here I am waiting with excitement for John McCain's speech on his relations with Hagee and how is it that he asked for Hagee's endorsement. (Here.)

Will it be an inspiring speech? I wonder.

Let me sit while I wait. On second thought, I might as well go on with my life in case this speech never arrives...

Words can't hurt you??

I am listening to Olbermann commenting on Ferraro's comments and on Hillary'as reaction to them.

I can see he is hurt, deeply hurt. As hurt as I am...

Listen to it here.

Endorsement of Substance

In case anyone has missed the endorsement from The Dallas Morning News, here it is.

I like this line:

"Her campaign has confused proximity to power with work experience, selectively taking credit for her husband's accomplishemts."
