What part of Government is run well? Social security will be gone, Medicare and Medicaid are corrupt and all will be bankrupt soon. WHY then should the government take over Public Healthcare? What's better Public transportation or private? Public schools or private? Public housing or private? Just because 12.7% of the U.S. doesn't have ... Read Morehealthcare (for whatever their reasons) why would you throw away the whole system to appease that small percentage? I do not get it. It's not logical and the constitution is written to keep Government from encompassing people's lives. You don't HAVE to buy life insurance, car insurance or IRA's. Is it wise to do so? Yes. So, let those buy their healthcare like the rest of us do. NO, I don't want anymore Government in my Freedom.

That was written by a member of my family.

I and Norseman set her straight. Or, at the least, got her to shut up and no longer post that crap on my Facebook page.

That's my trail of tears.

Red, I know how you feel. I saw that same headline and yet here I am without a job, wondering how I'll pay rent in two months. If the recession is over, no one has told my wallet.

It's going to take a while, but things actually do seem to be getting better somewhere. It's the holding out and waiting that's going to be tough. Luckily, we have friends we can talk with, and, yeah, share our fears with, and while that doesn't put money in our wallets, it does help.

So thank you for posting this and sharing your feelings because these things need to be heard. And they need to be expressed. And friends need each other. Please know that you have one, in me.
